The start of fall, the beginning of October and a new designer highlight? Well, that’s just a lot of wonderful for a Thursday! We’re pleased to introduce to you Batte Furniture & Interiors designer Sharon Turner. Enjoy!

Sharon Turner has traveled extensively enjoying global inspiration and influences that have cultivated a sense of design that is rich and multifaceted. Having studied at BHSC, San Francisco Design Center, as well as having her own successful Design firm in California, Sharon is well versed on all levels of design.

Sharon enjoys helping her clients reflect their vision of design along with the lifestyle that is uniquely theirs. Guiding them through the project, big or small, while keeping it within budget and “chunking it down” so it’s fun, stimulating, and truly a reflection of them.

Throughout her 15 years as a designer, Sharon has enjoyed helping clients in Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Carmel By The Sea, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Biloxi, Oxford and Jackson Ms. She currently resides in Jackson Mississippi and has joined the very talented team at Batte Furniture & Interiors.

Best work-related advice you’ve ever gotten: Listen well and repeat back to the client their wants and needs: “So what I’m hearing you say is…”

Best advice you could give someone beginning a design project: “Chunk it down.” Prioritize! Break down a large project into smaller tasks. Go over specifics—what the client really wants, deadlines, budget and expectations to make sure you and the client are on the same page.
